Impact of Diversity 2026, Category Gender Inclusion

CyberMentor has been shortlisted for the Impact of Diversity Award 2026 in the "Gender Inclusion" category, placing it among the top three projects. The award recognizes companies, initiatives, and individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.

MINT+ Action Plan of the German Federal Government    

CyberMentor is highlighted in the German Federal Government's MINT+ Action Plan as an effective example of continuous STEM support throughout the educational pathway. With this action plan, the Federal Government outlines its strategic priorities for STEM promotion in the coming years and underscores the importance of scientifically sound mentoring programs.

Recognised as best practice by UNESCO

CyberMentor was featured as a best practice example in a UNESCO policy brief prepared for the G20 Women’s Empowerment Group.
The report provides recommendations to G20 member states on promoting gender equality for women and girls in MINT careers. Its inclusion highlights the program’s international relevance and its role as a model for effective STEM mentoring.

Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs recommends CyberMentor     

 

 

The Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK) highlights CyberMentor in its recommendations for strengthening STEM education as an example of successful extracurricular support. This recognition underscores the program’s important contribution to encouraging girls to pursue STEM subjects.

ITEC Cares Award „Young Women in Tech”

CyberMentor received the ITEC Cares Award from the IT Executive Club in the Young Women in Tech category. The award recognizes educational initiatives that inspire young women to pursue careers in technology and provide them with long-term support.

Place at the MINTchallenge empowerMINT

The Stifterverband recognized CyberMentor as a 'Lighthouse Project for Empowering Women in STEM'. In the 'empowerMINT – Talent Knows No Gender' competition, the program was awarded second place.

Inclusion as best practice example at MENTOR

CyberMentor was featured as an outstanding practice example in the E-Mentoring Supplement to Elements of Effective Practice in Mentoring™. Published by MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, this resource is widely recognized as an international quality standard for mentoring programs.

Schwarzkopf Million Chances Award 2019   

CyberMentor received the 2019 Schwarzkopf Million Chances Award in the Move Up category. The award recognizes projects that empower girls and women and provide lasting support as they transition into education, training, and careers.

2017|

Harvard Kennedy School recommends CyberMentor

The accompanying research for CyberMentor has been included in the Gender Action Portal of the Harvard Kennedy School. CyberMentor is the only German research program to date to be represented there in the areas of "STEM" and "Access to Education." The portal highlights scientifically sound initiatives that contribute to promoting equal opportunities worldwide.

ADA Award 2016 – Digital Impact Organization of the Year

The Digital Leadership Institute honored CyberMentor with the ADA Award in 2016 as a “European Digital Impact Organization”. In particular, the innovative digital mentoring approach and the sustainable support of girls and women in MINT were recognized.
